The company PAISAGEM SUGESTIVA LDA, through this document, presents the terms and conditions governing the rental contract entered into between the company and the customer attached with this document.
- The customer received the vehicle in perfect conditions of use.
- The vehicle here will only be driven by the customer and will not be used for:
- The transportation of illegal goods or services under customs regulations;
- The carriage of goods or passengers in exchange for any compensation or compensation implied or visible;
- To push or push any vehicle or force;
- For sporting competitions;
- By any person under the influence of alcohol or narcotics.
- The vehicle is delivered with the warning triangle and the contacts with the kilometers, as normal tools, an over-the-counter unit or anti-puncture kit, authenticated copy of the letter, green card of insurance and warranty card;
- Due to the total or partial destruction or destruction of the vehicle's documentation, the rental company is obliged to pay €40.00 for the costs corresponding to the delivery, namely the costs of issuing duplicates of delivery and administrative expenses of the rental company.
- Prices are not included:
- Fines in the event of an accident, the return of the vehicle to the rental station of origin;
- Fees for compensation for expenses;
- Fuels are always on account of the customer who must also always check the oil and water level.
- Normal mechanical maintenance arising from normal use is at the Company's expense. In the event that the vehicle is immobilized, repairs can only be carried out with the agreement of the Company and in accordance with the instructions given.
- Prices include SCDW insurance (Own damage insurance with deductible exemption) and TP (Theft protection) and/or CDW (Third party insurance with deductible payment.)
- The rental ends on the day and time set by the Customer. If the Renter wishes to extend the rental period, he/she must go to the nearest Company station to update or contact by the means provided.
After the end of the rental period, the vehicle is considered to be moving without authorization and against the will of its owner, and the fact is punishable by law, and the responsibility of the driver. The Client will have to return the vehicle to the same rental station that is stipulated in his contract and within the stipulated hours, failure to comply with this measure implies a fee of €30.00.
- The cost of the hire, as well as any additional services purchased, must be paid at the start of the hire and will be based on the price lists in force or agreed in advance.
Depending on the agreement made in advance and confirmed by the Company, a refundable deposit may or may not be required for the insurance excess to cover any damage. The amount of the deposit will depend on the group to which the vehicle belongs, the tables in force or the agreement previously informed to the consumer.

Assistance resulting from negligence, accidents under the influence of alcohol, narcotics, negligence/infringement of the highway code, driving on an inappropriate road, implies a fee of €90.00 within the Funchal area and €120 outside Funchal charged by the Company.
The activation of the tow truck for the hirer with CDW (security deposit) is the responsibility of the customer and will be added to the price of the traveling assistance mentioned above.
If you lose your vehicle key, the company will charge a fee of up to €500.00.
- The client further agrees to protect the interests of the lessor and the rental insurance company in the event of an accident during the rental period and as follows:
- Obtaining the names and addresses of the persons involved and witnesses;
- Not leaving the vehicle without taking adequate measures to protect and safeguard it;
- Notifying the police immediately;
- In the event of an accident, loss, damage or theft, the occurrence must be immediately reported to the competent police authorities and Paisagem Sugestiva Lda. in the following 16 hours.
The Customer must fill in the friendly declaration, with the necessary data, otherwise it could compromise the effects of the SCDW insurance.
The Client undertakes to cooperate with PAISAGEM SUGESTIVA LDA and its insurers in any investigation or subsequent legal proceedings.
- Any additions or changes to the terms and conditions of this document will be void unless they have been agreed in writing.
- The Company is not responsible for accidents that are not reported to the police. SCDW Insurance does not cover damage to tires, underside of the vehicle, windows and locks, as well as accidents caused by speeding, under the influence of alcohol or narcotics and violations of the road code.
- In case of breach of this contract by the Customer, his personal data may be revealed or communicated to third parties to the extent necessary to recover the damages inherent to the breach.
- The Company is not liable to the Client or any passenger for loss or material damage caused to personal belongings carried or left in the vehicle, either during the rental period or after it.
- The Company does not guarantee a replacement vehicle in cases of negligence or accidents under the influence of alcohol, narcotics, or violations of the Highway Code.
- Premature delivery of the vehicle will not incur a refund of the amount paid for the rental. Returns via the website regarding the withdrawal of reservations will be made according to the following rules:
- Up to 7 days before the reservation, we will refund 100% of the value (less fees);
- Up to 3 days before booking, we will refund 50% of the amount (less fees);
- Up to 3 days or less we do not refund the paid amount. All reserve cancellations made in a physical store will not be refundable.
- The Renter must return the vehicle with the same level of fuel it was when he picked up the car; if it is lower, a fee of €20 will be charged for each 1/4 of the missing fuel tank.
- The return of the vehicle will have to be carried out at the agreed location; if the lessee does not comply with the terms of return of the vehicle, he will have to pay €200 to the company for breach of contract.
- Fines received during the use of the vehicle by the renter are the responsibility of the renter whether the vehicle is CDW or SCDW.
The renter undertakes to pay the fine to the company Paisagem Sugestiva plus an administrative fee of 30% of the value of the fine.
- If the vehicle is returned excessively dirty, there will be a cleaning charge of €60 to be paid by the hirer.
- When returning the deposit, the customer must hand in the fuel receipt. Failure to provide this receipt will result in a delay of up to 8 days in the delivery of proof of the return of the deposit.
