Do I need a TVDE license before renting a vehicle?

Yes. To operate legally as a TVDE driver in Portugal, you must hold a valid TVDE driver license and be registered on an approved platform (such as Uber, Bolt, etc.). RentX provides the vehicle, but the driver is responsible for having the legal authorization to operate.

Are the vehicles already approved for TVDE platforms?

Yes. All RentX TVDE vehicles are compliant with TVDE platform requirements and Portuguese regulations. You can register the vehicle on your platform and start working without worrying about eligibility or compliance issues.

What is included in the TVDE rental?
