Great service, great car and really fast process when getting the car and leaving the car. Deposit return was asap and I felt taken care of and listened to when it came to my questions. Also got tips for driving in Madeira. Would recommend 5/5 to rent your car from RentX in Madeira.

Great car rental agency! I've rented a car from them for 7 days for a very good price using Discover Cars. I've also opted to get the full insurance directly from RentX in their office when picking up the car for 15 euros/day. Because I took the insurance, no credit card or deposit was needed and I actually paid using a Revolut card. Pick up was very fast, around 5-10 minutes for all the paperwork. Clean and almost new car. Very friendly staff that gave me all the needed information regarding parking and driving conditions on the island. With the insurance you also get 24 hour assistance in case of flat tire or other issues but fortunatelly I didn't need it. Car was very good for Madeira, even on some steep roads. Dropping off the car was also very fast, the only thing checked was that the gas tank was full. Highly recommended!

That was an amazing car rental. The company called me that my car was ready for pick up a few hours before the official reservation free of charge. When I arrived at the city station no waiting time and a friendly man gave me an upgrade car, a brand new Citroen C3 Automatic. We checked the car together and after that, I rented the car 5 days for a good price. The Engine of the car was strong to make the mountain streets with two persons inside. Also check out was good and again really friendly, 5 minutes car check, 2 minutes in the office. If you need a car in Madeira, go there. 10 of 10 Points. Thank you.

Rented a car for 4 days in June 2023. I sent the documents on WhatsApp to fill the contract, so the pick-up was very fast. I got a new (2000km) and clean car. (I even got an free upgrade to a premium car). Drop-off was also fast and the amount blocked for deposit was released in a few minutes. I had experience with two rent-a-car companies in Madeira and RentX was by far the best.

Booked here via Discover Cars and had great service. All new cars, ours was fresh off the boat with only 12km on the counter. Check up with pick up and drop off was done together so that's nice too. Picked up in the Funchal office and dropped off in Machico. Very quick check up and shuttle to the airport. Mind you that if you don't book directly with them you do have to let them block €1000 on your credit card.

I definitely recommend this local and client-focused company ! 1. We got a very modern and new car, cleaned and fully tanked. 2. The RentX team is very professional, accommodating and kind. 3. Among the rare companies to accept debit card for both the rent + caution 4. Probably the most competitive price by far vs. all other traditional car rental companies. It definitely worth the extra 5 min it takes from the airport through their own shuttle service to get to their location/fleet.

Recommend it with the full insurance (about 20+ something euros pe day), at the drop off they only checked to see if the fuel tank was full. I also recommend that you get a more powerful car and automatic to have peace of mind on this island. The car was new and clean. Also their website didn't work, so either call them or get there and discuss in person.

Excellent customer service! This was my first time renting a car anywhere and it was super easy, reliable, and the best price I found in Madeira. All of the staff were extremely kind and friendly from pickup all the way to dropoff. They're very helpful with any questions and even recommended some fun local activities. 10/10 would recommend the company and rent with them again when visiting Madeira.

We have recently returned home after a brilliant week in Madeira. We used RentX as our hire car provider. This was the first time we have used this company while visiting the island and we will definitely be using them again. From booking the hire car, through to airport pick up and then car collection the customer service was brilliant and highly professional. The team at RentX couldn’t be more helpful and we were even given a car upgrade free of charge which was very kind. RentX is certainly shaking up the car rental market and making a much needed challenge to the more well established brands. We look forward to using RentX when we are back in 2024. We rented two cars from them. Booked a few months in advance and got good competitive prices. The staff were fantastic! Friendly, not in a rush and explained things well. Pick up service was easy and smooth too. Special shout out to Filipe and Rodney!! Would definitely recommend

HIGHLY RECOMMEND. We used RentX through discover cars and could not have been happier with our choice. The company was off-site from the airport, but we received quick and complimentary shuttle service to and from the airport at check-in and drop-off. We were met with friendly service and were given an upgrade free of charge. Avelino was especially kind and helpful during our shuttle to departure. Although the deposit for the rental car was quite high which made us a little uneasy, we received the refund as soon as we were dropped off at the airport. We will only rent with RentX next time we visit Madeira. Thank you guys!

Super efficient and straight forward service. Car was in perfect condition as it was literally brand new. Special thanks to Duarte who was extremely friendly and helpful which made the process smooth and enjoyable. RentX will definitely be our go-to choice whenever we visit Madeira again!
